Obituary: David H. Browne

David H. Browne, at 35
David Hugh Browne, of Delray Beach, Fla., formerly of Norwood and Hull, died unexpectedly June 23 at the age of 35.
He began his education in the Norwood public schools, moved to Hull and graduated from Hull High School with the Class of 2001, and finished his studies as a member of Phi Theta Kappa and graduate of Quincy College. 
For many years, Mr. Browne was a member of the Carpenters Union-Local 33, Boston. He embraced his country lovingly as a proud U.S. Navy veteran during Operation Enduring Freedom, serving aboard the USS John C. Stennis.
He was the loving father of Jayden and Joelle Browne, of Quincy; beloved son of Alan J. Browne, of Boston, and Marie (Nichols) O’Malley, of Hull; and devoted brother of Alison Browne, of Hull. He was the dedicated uncle of Brielle Browne, of Hull, and dear stepson of Charles A. O’Malley, of Hull. Mr. Browne is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 7, at 10 a.m. from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., Norwood. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 6, from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
