Gamblers Anonymous. Do you think you have a problem with compulsive gambling, or want to learn more about how to stop gambling? Gamblers Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other to help solve this common problem and help others to recover from a gambling problem. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop gambling. There are no dues or fees for Gamblers Anonymous membership, and the group is not allied with any religion or political organization. Snow Row 250 – Pulling Together Since 1776 (Weather Date: March 8, 2026), race starts at noon, Windmill Point Boathouse, 185 Main St., Hull, Fee: $45 per racer. This year's race, officially titled Snow Row 250 - Pulling Together Since 1776, will serve as the first major public event of Hull's commemoration of 250 years of American independence and coastal service. The beloved winter rowing tradition will feature its signature LeMans-style beach start, a 3 3/4-mile triangular course, and, for 2026 only, a dramatic ceremonial cannon start and appearance by the Hingham Militia, bringing Revolutionary-era pageantry to the shoreline. Rowers are invited - though not required - to add a touch of Revolutionary-era flair, such as tricorn hats, sailor sashes, or colonial-inspired gear, adding color and personality to the race while keeping the focus on competition and seamanship. In addition to traditional race awards, Snow Row 250 will introduce special honors including the Spirit of '76 Award, the Revolutionary Crew Award, and the Hull Heritage Award, recognizing teams that best capture the energy, creativity, and community pride of the milestone year. Snow Row Spectator Boat (Weather Date: March 8, 2026) Departs Pemberton Pier, Hull. Boarding: 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. Race Begins at noon. Tickets $30 per person, also on sale at Pemberton Pier on race day. Back by popular demand! Spectators can follow the action from shore or aboard the popular Snow Row Spectator Boat, which offers a front-row seat to this wild and woolly winter race. Al Mahegan, long-time rower and dedicated volunteer at the Hull Lifesaving Museum, also known for his hands-on boat repair work will serve as narrator of the Snow Row “spec boat.” Boarding takes place at Pemberton Pier. Dr. Calvin Mires, a maritime archaeologist at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, will share insights from his work studying historic shipwrecks and other maritime sites found along dynamic coastlines. Balance and Conditioning. The senior center is offering balance and conditioning classes. Each session consists of strength and conditioning exercises, stretches, and various balance drills designed to increase balance, strength, and flexibility. The stretching and strengthening exercises are focused on key muscles and joints to improve range of motion, strength, stability, awareness, and reaction time to prevent falls from poor balance. Zumba Gold Tuesdays at 8:45 a.m. Using light weight-toning Moroccan sticks, Justine Hobin leads classes in rhythm-based movement that tones arms, core, and lower back. Veterans who served during the war on terror: The War Memorial Commission is seeking submissions for an update to the memorial wall. Active-duty dates 9/11/01 to 9/30/21. Must have enlisted from Hull during that time as shown on your DD 214. Submit your DD214 to Hull Veterans Service Officer Paul Sordillo at town hall, 253 Atlantic Ave.
St. Mary of the Assumption Parish/St. Ann Church Masses are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 a.m., Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sundays at 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Bereavement Support Group. This free online support group begins on Tuesday, July 20, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will be ongoing. It is open to anyone who has experienced the death of someone they love. Registration is required. This support group will be held virtually via Zoom.
