Renovation of the Hull Village Fire Station continues, with additional foundation and exterior work still to be completed. The overall goal is to restore the deteriorating building at 129 Spring Street, which was the first town hall and school and is located in the Hull Village Historic District.

The town’s Community Preservation Act funds, with 2023 town meeting approval, provided a $1.5 million grant through the Hull Community Preservation Committee to preserve the 1848 building, with the project ongoing for several months. The funds were provided under the CPA’s historic preservation category.
