• Girls 5/6 Soccer showed tremendous heart and resilience in a hard-fought 2-2 tie against Halifax this past weekend. After falling behind 2-0, Hull refused to back down, displaying incredible fight and tenacity. Emma Medina sparked the comeback by scoring both Hull goals, with assists from Jacquie Collins and Lydia Caparrotta. Through relentless effort, teamwork, and determination, the team battled its way back into the match and solidified an undefeated record going into the second half of the season. These girls play a home game against Hingham at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 31.
• 7/8 Girls Soccer notched its second win of the season last Saturday, October 3, beating Plymouth, 5-1. Ada McMullen led the scoring with two goals and an assist. Magnolia Harbin added a goal and an assist; Leah Dibley and Erin Goodfellow each scored a goal and Frankie Rockett had an assist. The team is now 2-1 on the season and plays Norwell in its next game on Saturday, October 17 at home.
• The Boys 3/4 Soccer Team 1 has started the season with a 2-0 record, with great wins over Kingston teams and added another victory over Halifax at the CYS Jamboree this past weekend. All team members have contributed across the field, with goal scoring coming from seven of the 10 players so far. Noah McCarthy scored the game-winning goal in the season opener and hasn’t stopped since. Minding the net, Mac O’Palik has been a brick wall. Meanwhile, Manny Patel has been dominant on defense. Special shoutouts to Henry Dunn, Aiden Twombly, and Mason Means for their first travel soccer goals this fall.
• The Boys 5/6 Soccer Team Gold has a 3-0 record, shutting out Hingham with a 7-0 score at home last week. Noah Shea scored two goals, with assists from Luke Panetta and Enki Mundo. Langdon Walper also scored two goals. Andy Michaelides, Rocko Truglia, and Owen Bilodeau each scored one goal each. There will be no games this holiday weekend – next game is Saturday, October 17 in Hanover.

• Hull Youth Soccer takes a break this holiday weekend – no games for in-town or travel teams. The Pirates are back on the field next Saturday, October 17.
• Hull Youth Football plays Lower Cape at home on October 11. Mites play at 10 a.m. and Midgets are at 11:30 a.m. Games are on Sundays; the next game also is at home on October 18 against West Bridgewater. The final two games – October 25 and November 1 – are both away, against Dennis-Yarmouth and Hanson.
• The Hull High boys varsity soccer team is now 4-2-3 on the season, splitting this week’s games with a 2-1 loss to Abington on Monday and an 8-0 win over Academy of the Pacific Rim on Wednesday at home. Next up is New Heights Charter School of Brockton on Friday at home at 3:30 p.m., followed by a road game against Norwell on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
• Girls varsity soccer’s next two games are at home – against Norwell on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. and against Cohasset on Monday, October 19 at 5:30 p.m.
