The @hull_public_library's February book club book is "James" by Percival Everett, a 2024 novel that retells Mark Twain's "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" from the perspective of the enslaved man, Jim, giving him agency and a voice. The discussion will be at 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18. The book follows Jim as he escapes to avoid being sold, joining Huck on the Mississippi River, and has received major acclaim, including the 2025 Pulitzer Prize for fiction.
