Obituary: Michael Kenny, Jr.

Michael J. Kenny, Jr. of Hull died with his family at his side on Sunday, April 3. He was 70 and had waged a yearlong battle with cancer. 
Born in Quincy, where he was raised and educated, he lived on the South Shore all his life and settled in Hull 13 years ago. He and his wife Ann Marie owned and operated Josephine’s B & B in Hull for 10 years and spent their winters in Florida.
The devoted father of Christina Conte of Pasadena, CA; cherished brother of Clare Barrett and her husband, Edward, of Quincy, Sheila Giglio and her husband, Harold, of Hull and the late Frances Greer, Maureen Beaton, and Catherine Marvelle; he is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours, which will be held on Friday, April 8, from 4-8 p.m., at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm St., Quincy Center. 
On Saturday, there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, 208 Samoset Ave., Hull. Burial will take place at Hull Village Cemetery.
