Obituary: Holly Hadfield

Holly Hadfield, at 67
Holly Brown Hadfield, 67, of Hull, formerly of East Berlin, Conn., died peacefully on the evening of Feb. 22, surrounded by the love, comfort, and care of her family. 
She was a daughter of the late Dorothy M. (Northrop) and Stanton P. Brown Sr. 
Mrs. Hadfield had a lifelong love of the arts and thoroughly enjoyed painting and sketching by the sea, although her most cherished times were those spent in the company of her loving family and friends. 
She was the devoted mother of Kristina Hadfield and her partner, Brian Washburn, of Santa Cruz, Calif.; Sarah Freel and her husband, Stephen, of Braintree; Katherine Asadoorian and her husband, John, of Methuen; and the late Amy Hadfield. 
She was the dear sister of Stanton Brown Jr. of Storrs, Conn.; Nancy Brown of Amston Lake, Conn.; Marcia Brown and her husband, Brian King, of Hull; and the late Susan Brown. She was also the cherished grandmother of Danielle Monighetti and her husband, Kyle, Zachary Cord, Meghan Freel, Stephen Freel, and Emma Asadoorian. 
Mrs. Hadfield is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many good friends, including her former husband, Robert. 
Her funeral will take place on Friday, March 2, at 11 a.m. at Hamel Funeral Care & Cremation Service of Massachusetts, 26 Adams St., Quincy Center. Interment will be private.
