Robert W. Crowell, at 90

Robert W. Crowell, 90, of Hull, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Mr. Crowell was born in Boston on December 27, 1934, to Willard and Kathleen Crowell. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and then became a member of the Local 12 plumber’s union and received his 65th year of service pin last September. Mr. Crowell worked on many large jobs, including Faneuil Hall, the Boston Harbor Hotel, Cape Cod and Falmouth Hospitals, and the renovation of the Boston Garden.

Mr. Crowell’s favorite activity was watching “Cowboys and Indians” on TV from his recliner. When not watching TV, Bob enjoyed listening to classical music, especially the Boston Pops, boating, fishing, and going on cruises to the Caribbean with his beloved wife, Jane. Mr. Crowell was an avid Boston sports fan and loved to play Keno at his favorite spot, the Sandbar in Hull.

Mr. Crowell is survived by his wife, Jane, to whom he was married for 67 years. He leaves his daughter, Patricia DiBiase, and her husband, Michael; Robert Crowell and his wife, Jacqueline; William Crowell, and Michael Crowell. Mr. Crowell also is survived by seven grandchildren (Michaela DiBiase, Alana Hines (Jacob), Olivia DiBiase, William Crowell Jr., Shaina Hauter, Nikole Cox (Matt), and Johnathan Crowell) and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation and funeral Mass were held on September 10 at St. Ann’s Church. Burial was in Hull Village Cemetery. Visit www.keohane.com for online condolences.
