Obituary: Timothy 'Tip' Sullivan Jr.

Hull resident Timothy “Tip” F. Sullivan Jr. died Feb. 6, after a long illness. 
Mr. Sullivan was raised in Braintree and Hingham. He graduated from Hingham High School in 1969 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bentley College in 1974. In 1976, he married Diane Murphy of Needham, and two years later relocated to Bradford, New Hampshire, where he and his wife raised four children. 
In 1999, they returned to Massachusetts and have resided in Hull ever since. 
Mr. Sullivan enjoyed woodworking, photography, and spending time with his family. He leaves Diane Sullivan, his beloved wife of 39 years; his cherished children, Tara Sullivan of Hull, Maeve Corliss and her husband, Gilbert, of Hull, and Bridget Martin and her husband, Sean, of Weymouth. He also leaves a sister, Karen Sullivan of Hingham; a brother, William Sullivan and his wife, Dawn, of Brockton; and many extended family members. He will be forever missed by his granddaughters, Neila and Nora.
Mr. Sullivan was predeceased by his parents and his son, Timothy F. Sullivan III. 
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann Church in Hull on Saturday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
