Matthew McPeck, at 59

Matthew “Mattie” McPeck, 59, of Hull passed away on December 22, 2025 after a long illness.
Born in Weymouth, he was the son of Frannie Maccarrone and was predeceased by his father, Bernie McPeck. He was a graduate of Hull High School and was a personal trainer for more than 30 years.

Known for his passion for fitness and health, Mattie not only trained his clients but befriended many. Mattie could often be seen riding his bike around the streets of the South Shore and also as a participant raising money for the Pan-Mass Challenge. When he wasn’t training or biking, his time was spent enjoying his many pets, especially Rocky.
He leaves behind his brother, Chris and his wife, Linda, and his sister, Lisa Gates and her husband, Chuck. He was the loving uncle of Dennis, Michael, Max, and Sam. He also leaves behind his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday January 5, from 4-7 p.m. at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond Street, Hingham.
