Doris A. Walsh of Hull passed away July 15, 2025.
Born October 15, 1953 to Doreen and Philippe Flannery in Somerville, Mrs. Walsh was one of nine and had eight siblings: Kathleen Canney and her husband, Edward; the late Rita Gotham and her surviving husband, Edward; Beatrice Wood and her husband, Ron; the late Claire McAskill and her late ex-husband, Paul; Paul Flannery and his wife, Valerie; Ralph Flannery; Irene Flannery and her husband, Jeffrey Blanz; and Dana Flannery and his wife, Maureen.
Mrs. Walsh was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Patrick Walsh and devoted mother of two daughters – Aimee Walsh and her husband, Thomas, and Bonnie Walsh – and grandmother of two, Thomas Walsh and the late Avalina Walsh.
Mrs. Walsh and her husband, Joseph, moved to Hull in the 1970s to start a family. She loved living in the seaside community where she worked as a teller at Hull Cooperative bank for many years. She later moved on to work as the office manager for the probation department at Hingham District Court, from where she retired in 2019.
Mrs. Walsh loved God and prayer and was a devout Catholic. She loved living by the ocean where she would enjoy the warm weather and spending time in her garden. Some of Mrs. Walsh’s favorite things were butterflies, stargazer lilies, roses, seashells, and animals.
Most of all, Mrs. Walsh loved her family and was a dedicated, warmhearted daughter, sister mother, and friend whose support and faith were always constant and unwavering.
Visiting hours were held on Wednesday at Pyne Keohane Funeral Home in Hingham, followed by a graveside service at Hull Village Cemetery.
