/Patrice J. Twigg
Patrice J Twigg, beloved mother of seven children, 13 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving a void in her enormous family that cannot be filled.
Mrs. Twigg, born in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Basil and Maxine Osgood, was an Army brat who lived in various locations throughout the world as a result of many military transfers.
Mrs. Twigg graduated from Hull High School in 1961 while dating William, aka Billy, the man who would be by her side for the next 64 years.
She was affectionately known as Mrs. T and was a beloved Hull Public Schools bus driver for 25 years, having several graduating classes dedicate their yearbook in her honor because of all the love and dedication she gave to all the students she supported throughout the years.
Whether she slowed the bus and waited for you to run down the hill, screamed at you to rebound during a basketball game, yelled support from the football stands, or hugged you after a rough game, she was there for you! She was always there for us!
Mrs. Twigg was a devoted mother of seven children: Theresa, Deborah, James, Kathleen, Christine, Carol, and William; her pride and joy, 13 grandchildren: David Gibbons, Christine Quan, Robert Cochlin, Christopher Coleman, Lacy Coleman, Derek Cochlin, Taylor Duhaime, Bryan Vieira, Abigail Twigg, Jacob Twigg, Alexia Hansen, Brian Rinaldi, and Jordan Rinaldi; and nine great grandchildren: Levi Cochlin, Patrick Cochlin, Aiden Gibbons, Nathan Quan, Logan Coleman, Avery Quan, Luke Duhaime, Charlotte Duhaime, and Olivia Coleman.
Mrs. Twigg took special joy in spoiling her grandchildren and often spoke about running into all the many children, now adults, she once fostered as a school bus driver, super Hull High Boosters fans, and Friends of the Marching Pirates.
Visiting hours were held Sunday, August 24 at the Leighton-MacKinnon Funeral Home In Hanson.
A memorial funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Ann’s Church, 204 Samoset Ave., on Saturday, September 13, at 11 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 440 Nantasket Ave. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hull High School Music Department in Mrs. Twigg’s memory and would be greatly appreciated.
