/John B. Redman, at 69
John Brendan Redman (May 9, 1956 – September 1, 2025), a native of Hull, was a lifelong fisherman and lobsterman who loved the Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He was an avid music lover of music from the ’70s and ’80s and enjoyed growing flowers, especially sunflowers.
Throughout his life, Mr. Redman lived in Texas, Maryland, and Minnesota and returned to Hull in 2006, where he remained until his passing. He always had a good story to tell, and his nephews and nieces remember him well for his humor and his excellent Rodney Dangerfield and Donald Duck impersonations.
Mr. Redman was preceded in death by his brothers, James and Daniel Redman; his father, Robert Leo Redman; his sister, Kathleen (Redman) Osborn; and his mother, Barbara (Wentzell) Redman. He is survived by his siblings Colleen Redman (Joe Klein), Sherry Redman, Joseph Redman (Nancy Redman), Robert Redman (Donna David), and Tricia Redman, and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial Mass at St. Ann’s Church, 208 Samoset Ave., on September 6 at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome to come and pay their respects.
